Y2C2 Restaurant

Located in the Wharf 1846 development in Shanghai with majestic views onto the Huangpu River and Pudong, the interior design has been conceived playing with the contrast between tradition and innovation like in a harmonious dance between yin and yang. The name of the Restaurant is a shorthand for the restaurant’s concept: a balance of yin and yang and as well as the classic and the contemporary. That’s two Ys and two Cs; hence Y2C2.

Elegant and edgy at the same time, brings a new energy and freshness to Shanghai’s dining scene. Kokaistudios is an award winning multi-disciplinary design firm founded in 2000 in Venice by Italian architects Filippo Gabbiani & Andrea Destefanis which for the past 10 years has been headquartered in Shanghai. To date the firm has completed over 140 projects in the fields of architecture, heritage architecture, and interior design including numerous international award winning projects.
