Frederik Premier specialises in interior projects and offers advice in all single aspects of interior. The company is passed on to the new generation, and the team is composed of primarily Bets Nijssen-Brals, the founder of the shop. 15 years ago she started as flagship storeholder of the brand Blanc d’Ivoire in the Netherlands. Now the company is getting a boost in a modern direction by the new owner, Ronald Nijssen and Charlotte Nijssen – Weeink.
An homage to the iconic lighting created by 20th century Venetian designer Mariano Fortuny, the chandelier Icaro captures the grace and opulence of its silk forbears in an utterly modern material: fiberglass.
This evolution of Fortuny’s design makes Icaro‘s dramatic span and multiple tiers possible with remarkably light weight and exceptional durability. Finished by hand in gold or silver leaf, the sweeping curves reflect and diffuse light to a soft, ambient shimmer. Made in Venice, Italy.
